ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error (Windows)

ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error:



This error often strikes anytime then i list out what to do
1. Check networking wires
2. Check ping
3. Ensure listener is started
4.. Oracle variables configured correctly

In Windows OS:

C:\Users\Home>set ORACLE_HOME=F:\app\Home2\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1

C:\Users\Home>SET ORACLE_SID=ORCL

C:\Users\Home>sqlplus "/as sysdba"

SQL> startup
